Only minor issue that bemused me was the the ceiling, which was bare, unfinished cement and was a complete mismatch with the rest of the room. Very nice bathroom. Good location, easy to walk to restaurants and shops, and only a five minute walk to the €3 boat to Valletta and the Gozo/Blue Lagoon cruises. The pool isn’t on site, it’s a 100m walk down to the main road and on the other side. It’s very nice but it’s a public pool that guests have free access to, so the photos are misleading. It was a good sized room and the shower was great. It wasn’t quiet though, we could hear the people above and next to us, as well as the breakfast room and the main entrance door creaking below us, so if you’re a light sleeper take ear plugs.

The room was spotless - everything felt fresh and well-maintained, which says a lot about how seriously ST Hotels takes their properties. Special mention to Ivan at the reception - he was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always going the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. The location in Gzira is perfect - walking distance to Sliema waterfront, great cafes nearby, and a calm neighborhood at the same time. I'll definitely be coming back in March for an extended stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable base in central Malta.

I recently stayed in Malta and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The room was modern, well-maintained, and featured a lovely shower that felt like a real upgrade compared to many places I’ve stayed. We also had a balcony, which was a great bonus and made the stay feel a bit more special. Breakfast was fantastic each morning, with plenty of choice and everything fresh and well presented. The surrounding area was clean and pleasant, and the staff were consistently attentive and helpful throughout our stay. That said, there are a couple of things worth being aware of. You’ll need to pay a damage deposit at check-in, which might catch some people off guard if you’re not expecting it. Also, the check-in process can be quite slow, especially if several guests arrive at the same time. It seemed like only one person was actually handling check-ins while another staff member was focused on getting guests to fill out forms, which created a bit of a bottleneck. Overall, despite the slightly frustrating arrival experience, the quality of the room, the excellent breakfast, and the attentive staff made for a very pleasant stay.
