"Hugely overpriced. The property has been allowed to reach a run down state. Because I took the key away with me during the day the room could not be cleaned. Looking at the furnishings I would say that this was once quite a nice hotel. Overall experience...disappointing. "

"At Yaya is a great value hotel that is conveniently located next to the Lak Song MRT station. I stayed here for over a week and had no issues with staying here. The only things were minor such as lacking a hot water kettle and a microwave (which I consider extras). It is very close to a modern Shopping Mall and getting a taxi was not a problem (most of the time). "Big issue I had here was my wife was pregnant and they did have an elevator. Also room was not very clean and had ants. Asked to just cancel even though we were only there for 5 minutes front desk called the manager who then said no refund. So asked if we could change to the main building that has an elevator as wife is 8 months pregnant and the stairs are too much for her. Front desk calls the manager again who said yes but it’s an upgrade and will cost $175 more, Expedia even tried to...

"Counter staff average. Restaurant was on cash bases. I use credit. Bed was not soft. Sink and shower not properly cleaned. No hand bar soap. Tripping hazard at bathroom threshold due to 3/4 difference in surface. Would stub toe every single time."

"This is not a bad hotel,just not what it is advertised to be. Upon arrival I was shown to a pokey little room which was clearly not what I booked. When I objected I was given the room I had booked which was bigger and better but very tired and shabby. It is not an expensive hotel but I just wish hoteliers would be truthful in their description."
