"We were extremely impressed with our 4 night stay at the Grand Hotel du lac. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant one evening during our stay and what we had was delicious. The hotel is very conveniently situated right opposite the market. "The hotel is in an excellent location. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the walking distance to Ben Thanh Markets, Saigon Square Markets, Saigon Centre shops and popular eatries in Ho Chi Minh City. It was very easy to book Grab and bus tours due to being right near Pasteur Gate entrance to Saigon Centre. We were pleased with our 5 night stay as we had free access to the Mini bar drinks, water, tea and coffee. This was a lovely gesture. "

Have a drink in the M-bar and watch all the scooters below and the traffic on the Sai Gon river. Staff were very friendly snd helpful and the pool is an oasis from the sweltering heat of the city.
