"Reception staff lovely and helpful, room was spacious and clean. Lovely selection of teas / coffees biscuits in the room. However, the staff in the restaurant!!! How rude!!! The one woman who seemed to be the main woman on the night was so rude, her attitude towards us all was disgusting, and she got the order wrong after us going through it with her and her having a print out of it as we had to pre book "

"Noisy - Drill/construction noises began at 7am from floor above which we were not warned about. Dated room. Strand of hair in the sink. Otherwise, friendly staff and nice location. Convenient carpark nearby and right outside train station. "

"Paul was great to work with. Very informative about options for dining and local access. Views of the beach lived up to our expectations. Not your usual featureless hotel accommodations, but exactly what we wanted from Paul and the local Swansea residents."

"Tired and dated hotel. Biggest concern was our room had a door linked to the next room which was not safe. The lock on our side did not engage properly and could have been pushed open with very little force from the room next door. In the middle of the night about 2am I was wakened by the person in the adjoining room opening their door and I thought they were trying to get into our room. As a result I did not sleep well. I reported this at reception before we left so I hope the matter is resolved."

"My room had an awful smell from the bathroom and the TV channels kept freezing, I discussed with the staff the following day, they ensured housekeeping would see to it. Housekeeping did indeed attend my room only to throw the bedcovers back, empty the bin and leave it with no bag, left all the dirty cups and didn’t replace the tea and milk, and the smell was still there! I eventually told them I want a room change which they did, but this isn’t the first time I’ve stayed here and I’ve always found housekeeping to be useless and never makeup the rooms properly."

"Good Parking ( Top car park off the hill to the left is much easier with luggage ) Friendly Staff , Clean / Warm and comfortable room. Leisure facilities clean and all in service - one issue was space in the pool etc , it seems locals use the site and have a right of passage to the pool / Jacuzzi as we were twice subtly forced to leave the pool as people took their position and left us no choice. Suggest an hour either side of the normal operating hours when the hotel rooms are busy just for guests to use the facilities - not a complaint , just a suggestion. Otherwise a fantastic stay - we love the Gower as we have family in Penclawdd and visit regularly. Room service spot on too - lovely fresh room to return too each evening - Thanks "
