"This is really such a gem in Kauai! We were there two days, one was pouring from the Kona Low storm, but we still had a blast -- had cocktails, enjoyed the ocean waves and hot tub, warm shower, watched SpongeBob, and enjoyed the cozy rain and breeze coming in from the porch, and had an epic dinner at Rum Fire! Then enjoyed yoga the next morning and a full sunny day at the beach with a cabana and boogie boards! "

"Great hotel, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms were clean, 2 pools and hot tubs and loungers were nice. Parking could be a bit of a pain, and the attached restaurant/bar that was on the beach was too expensive, so we found other really great options in Kapaa. "

"The resort has a beautiful pool area that’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. However, the room cleanliness left something to be desired, as it didn’t feel as well-maintained as expected. Additionally, ongoing construction in the building impacted the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant stay for the amenities, but improvements are needed in housekeeping and guest comfort."

"Overall very pleasant stay. If you are looking for a beautiful location and view this is the place! Waking up to the view every morning was stunning. Location was great and walkable. Close proximity to drive and explore many sites…..keep in mind this hotel is dated. Old tv, ok beds, no frills. Our room was “cleaned” and ready upon arrival but there was hair on our sheets and pillows, toothpaste and hair in sink, mirrors spotted and smeared, not vacuumed and sticky residue on remotes and tv boxes. Someone came a changed our sheets, but I bought Clorox wipes and wiped everything down myself. The front desk people are so pleasant and helpful, so I would just suggest checking your room condition upon arrival, could have been a one time experience as we read other reviews."

"We stayed in a King room with an ocean view. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a problem at check in that they attempted to downgrade us to a queen room and was not going to honor the deal I booked on Hotels.com until I provided documentation of the deal and insisted on the King room I had booked. Staff had to go back to the manager several times before issue was resolved. Received the room and deal I had booked on Hotels.com. Stay was enjoyable. Dinner at RumFire was great! Make sure to make reservations ahead of time. "
