Hotels in Southgate

"Room was clean. Booked the Premium King room with Lanai. Upon check in we were given a premium room but it did not have a Lanai. When I asked where The Lanai was they said it was the name of the room and if I wanted a patio you have to reserve a room that said Patio. For a Polynesian branded hotel I assumed a Lanai was a patio so just a heads up when booking. Overall the staff were great, the food was decent and it’s a nice hotel. I would stay again and make sure to get a patio because the gardens are beautiful "

"Basic King bedrooms are lackluster with stained carpets. Shower/tub needs remodeling to remove fixed patch jobs. Parking lot around property sketchy with homeless wandering around throughout. The only positive is it’s central location "

"Room was clean and had plenty of room which made things comfortable. The grounds were kept up very well as grounds keepers were seen actively. Parking spots are a little tight but plenty of spots. Breakfast is continental style which I wish had more options."

"The only good thing here was the breakfast. The first room they gave us smelled overwhelmingly of mold. They were friendly and accommodating and gave us a different room. That one smelled okay. There was a blood stain on the duvet in that room. The elevator shook and seemed like it was on its last leg. I would not stay here again. "
