We stayed in this place for 4 nights and had an experience of a lifetime. Staff were just absolutely respectful, professional and accommodating of our needs anytime. The food is like an other hotel where selections are limited. However, we would still rate their food with 4 stars. They have a complete facility of pool indoor and outdoor, spa, and gym with a big wine cellar and a scenic landscape wherever you look. Really special hotel in a great location of Guimaraes. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, and cater to whatever you need. Breakfast was great. For Europe, these rooms are huge, and charmingly decorated. Pool and patio were great. We will definitely stay here again.

Good amenities. The only bad thing is bathroom lighting. It is WAY to dark over mirror. The hand mirror did not light up. They need shower mats as shower is very slippery!
We had an excellent stay here for 3 nights in February. The room, indoor pool, and restaurant were excellent. In particular, the restaurant menu was extensive and reasonably priced, making the decision to eat at the resort easy.
The personal attention and details on everything is over the top. I strongly recommend this place.

Choose this place If you like peaceful stroll in the garden after your restful sleep. Exceptional staff, especially Sarah 👏. It is close to Sanctuary of Penha and sorrounded by nature.
Hotel is about up to US standards, but I needed to go to Guimaraes and I did not understand how far this hotel in Fafe was from Guimaraes until I arrived at the hotel. The bus station is a 10 min walk down the street, but the last buses are at 830 and 1015 from Guimaraes to the hotel in Fafe. But the hotel is good and the staff are great.
