Hotels in Sangdo-dong

We have stayed in long-term accommodations near Yeouido and Gangnam multiple times, but this is the first time we’ve experienced such an exceptional combination of friendliness, convenience, and comprehensive facilities. While the nearby Conrad Hotel offers similar conditions, we were dissatisfied with their service and would instead recommend the Fairmont Hotel to others.

The room felt small, but everything was highly satisfying.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Korea so far. The location was very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The customer service was excellent, and the room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. 10/10 highly recommend!

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. It was conveniently located next to a train/subway station (access to 2 lines) which is accessible via the bridge walkway. There is also the Sinyongsan station across the street from that which gives you access to even more lines. There is a very nice convenience store on the 2nd floor of the Ibis hotel which is connected. The room was very modern, clean, and looked very new. Great experience! Helpful and kind staff!

Received an upgrade for my room. The front desk was nice and friendly. Breakfast is ok for commercial customers. Location is good because it is near the subway station and also a lot of restaurants opened til midnight.

Very good hotel. It was close to many sights, access to transportation and shopping. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen. Staff very polite and helpful.

The property was great. Staff was wonderful. The breakfast had a good mixture of korean and american food. The only thing i didnt like was it said it was near seoul Station but was at saemundae station and was mutliple subway transfers away.

Great hotel

Great location for shopping and dining. Luxurious hotel interior- every spot is picturesque. It has own fine-art gallery. I booked a room with two double beds. The room was clean and spacious. One thing I didn’t like was the toilet with bidet that did not work properly. So the hotel manager changed my room right away. Except that, I had great stay.

The location was excellent. Close to everything. The family room on the 8th floor was spacious and quiet. My favorite part of the room was automatic water dispenser! Korean winter is pretty dry and having water dispenser and kettle was great way to hydrate. The CREW were accommodating. We were able to check in early and get needed rest. We received a welcome snack and that was very sweet! Special shout out to Benny at the bar, who took care of us when I needed non-sugary, non-alcoholic drink....

Rooms, services, and amenities were all good.

Our stay at Solaria was great. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of Myeongdong. Airport limousine 6015 bus dropped us off and the walk to the hotel was only 5 minutes from the bus stop. We just as easily took the limousine bus back to the airport ( cash or tmoney card only). The Myeoungdong station was also just a 5min walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was well worth it.
