"The staff at this hotel are very friendly. The only issue that we had was the icemaker closest to our room was out of order, but there was another one on the other end of the building we were in so it really was not a major inconvenience. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the morning that we left, right around sunrise, a large herd of elk were wandering through the parking lot. It was a great photo op and will be cool to look back on after our trip concludes."

"The breakfast bar was out of a lot of things by 7 am. For a full hotel, there was one waffle maker and we waited for nearly 20 minutes for gravy. No cups out for juice or silverware. The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable and had nice linens. In a quiet area, easily accessible to WCU."

"Smoke detector was disabled. Air conditioner didn’t work well, room too hot."

"The front desk staff was very helpful. The room itself was clean. I could tell it had been updated. It could use a few more updates, but it felt clean. The hot tub and pool did not seem very clean. I know they said they are getting it fixed and updating it soon."
