"Solid choice in the south Newcastle area. Rooms were older but well maintained - sort of classic Route 66 motel era, or in other words, charming. Good television channel selection, plenty of hot water, and biscuits (cookies) included with the tea and coffee items, along with a small carton of milk, which I just love. Easy parking right in front of the room. Next door to a 7-Eleven with a Subway and an Oporto, but I recommend a visit to the attached pub for a full-on Aussie experience."

"Loved being right on Stockton Beach and having cooking facilities in our cabin. Also, Lexies Cafe just a few cabins away was a lovely little cafe overlooking the beach. Didn't like the pillows on our bed and would have liked to have been able to see whether our cabin was a beachfront or not as this wasn't described in the booking."

"Clean room, but rusty shower rail and damaged blinds in bedroom, but overall good value for the money. Good pub with excellent food. Another oub where you would get a discount for being a menber but only staying for a couple of nights its not worth the hassle. Plenty of parking at the rear. "

"Room was clean, Staff friendly. Tinta Restaurant had good food in elegant style with perfect lake views, seafood and excellent coffee. Location was perfect at water's edge, where many black swans congregated in the lake. Overall feeling was of peaceful serenity."
