"Place is good with proximity to tourist sites, and central location for restaurants options. Host is wonderful and helpful. Just didn’t realise the kitchen was self service. But in all a good place and I wouldn’t mind returning if I’m in Rome again."

"Overall all Relais Garbatella was clean and convenient in terms of transportation with easy access to popular areas in Rome via bus or sub way. There are plenty of tasty food options near this apartment. The interior of the rooms and common areas are modern and well maintained. I would highly recommend accomodation if you plan on visiting Rome."

The “guest house” is in fact a bedroom in a small condo apt shared with 3 other bedrooms, a common sofa, and small kitchen— even if you did cook, nowhere to eat. "This was the most amazing hotel to stay in with some wonderful spa facilities Having wandered around Ostia Antica earlier on our trip it was easy to imagine being back in Roman times !! The staff especially Barbara were wonderful and explained all about the property. Rooms were delightful, toiletries were gorgeous. Dinner was superb with sublime food in wonderful surroundings. "Have stayed here many times and never been disappointed. This time i reserved the room for 2 nights and check in was a breeze. The breakfast is amazing and nothing compares to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Thru will do anything for you. So happy they have a shuttle to the terminal now. Makes it so easy with a mobility challenged husband. Room was immaculate and so quiet. Will always stay her when I visit Roma. "
