"Poppies is a little gem in Noord Amsterdam. Noord is less busy than city central with cute neighborhoods and the shipping area has been revamped into entertainment and dining. Poppies is the perfect location to explore Amsterdam. The staff is excellent and make you feel like family. The cafe has excellent coffee and food for purchase. The rooms are very small, but the beds are very comfy."

"I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam NDSM. The breakfast and restaurant were excellent, and the overall service was outstanding. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with a free ferry connection from Amsterdam Centraal to NDSM, which makes access easy and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent hotel. Really comfy and clean and big enough as I was travelling with my 2 teenage sons. Nice part of dam too. Close enough and easy enough to get into town, but far out enough for it to be really peaceful. We had a great view of the boats from our room too. Staff super friendly. I never give 10/10 reviews. "Huge hostel with plenty of rooms and plenty of activities. The toilet/shower facilities are kept in pristine condition. Yes it is in Amsterdam Noord (other side of the river), so you'll have to take the ferry, but it's free and it runs very frequently and late at night too (up to 2AM when I was there). "

Everything is thought off without excess, the food is amazing, the night rest is deep and peaceful, the team is truly connecting and the views are breathtaking.. all 10min away from the busy center of Amsterdam! "We really really enjoyed our time at SWEETS - Gerben Wagenaarbrug! The space is unique but very charming. Although we were only there for a couple of nights, we felt right at home. The only suggestion I might make would be to let guests know that it is quite remote. There arent as many shops/stores nearby (which is fine) but a bit less expected in a city as busy as Amsterdam. We also really enjoyed the coffee/tea station and the books/games and other amenities on site. I ended up purchasing...
