"nice local hotel of 16 rooms. two block walk to the famous Sunday market at San Elmo. Very nice breakfast. Very, very reasonably priced. Fifteen minute walk to Porto Maduro. Short taxi ride to Newberry airport and CoLonia Express ferry to Uruguay. Great staff and very accomodating. "

Clean, comfortable, and close to many amenities in the Palermo area, small groceries markets in the around, and 1 block away from the local buses bus big bus stop. "We loved staying in San Telmo area, with cafes, restaurants, and mini markets all conveniently within steps. The hop on hop off bus, and plaza we're nearby, as well as laundry. The room was quite spacious and patio spaces delightful. And the staff we're always welcoming, helpful, and for us their English and maps made our stay easy!!"

"This hotel is an extremely unique section of San Telmo, located right within Plaza Dorrego where there is a constant market, Tango dancers, restaurants, and immediately around the corner for the San Telmo food market and several fantastic grill restaurants. I got the best steak in my life there. Unlike Palermo, which is a bit too touristy, San Telmo is awesome with an incredible mix of European cultures food and restaurants."

"They were calling charging for deposit, fee of cleanning, all new and very pushy. We are not from Argentina, and they gave ways to pay that we did not understand. "The apartment was exactly as advertised in a convenient location in San Telmo, easily walkable to the Mercado San Telmo or Parque Lazama, and with a 24-hour garage and a convenience store less than a block away. Hosts suggested the parking ahead of our arrival. Our only issue was minor in that we weren’t sure which unit was ours when checking in with a code, but otherwise checking in & out was simple."

"I was attending the IPSA World Congress held at the Catholic University of Argentina. Hotel Chipre is about a 15 minute walk from campus as well as other points of interest such as the Plaza de Mayo, the Cathedral, and Casa Rosada. It is also right by plenty of markets for food and toiletries. The famous, historical Bar El Federal is down the block of the hotel for a nice night out. Other bars, restaurants, and cafe's are close as well. Mercado San Telmo is also a nice place to go shopping....

"This eclectic home is conveniently located in San Telmo, steps from the market and Féria. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-sized. The kitchen is good for bringing in take-out. There are lovely windows, and indoor courtyard, a balcony and a generously sized patio on the top level."
