"Our room was clean but the air conditioning worked poorly. Claimed that they would fix. Now to the positives: the pool is great, the restaurant is good, and the distance town center is reasonable. However, the front area is rocky with a bunch of trashed mattresses. Not the most beautiful site."

"This hotel was authentic as is was a former convent! The rooms were cute, the beds were comfortable and the view was nice. The pool was perfect as it’s a small hotel so it was quiet and the poolside service was exceptional! We dined at the restaurant for dinner at it was mouthwateringly delicious! All in all a great 2-night stay for the price."

"Firstly, the staff there was fantastic. We had had a problem with our rental car in Evora and ended up carless in Moura, but had reserved a night kayaking outing the evening of the day we got there. We told the staff at the hotel and they volunteered to arrange a taxi for us. Then we had said something about having to leave on the early bus the next day and they shifted the breakfast a half an hour earlier so that we could eat before we left. The staff was friendly, considerate and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, the AC worked great (important when its 43C outside), our room was very quiet and the beds comfortable. I'll go back there again if I get back to Moura, which I probably will with the nearby lake, stargazing and good food. A big thank you to the staff there!"

"Chambre très propre. Il y avait un jeune homme au comptoir extrêmement serviable et gentil, c'était un service personnalisé. Il parlait anglais, il nous a aidé dans les réservations de restaurant, nous a conseillé sur les attraits touristiques et il vérifiait si tout été à notre satisfaction. J'avais écrit à l'hôtel pour avoir une place de stationnement et en arrivant ma place était prête. J'ai même pu laisser mon auto jusqu'à 3h00 après le "check out" pour une dernière visite de la ville à pieds. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation."

"The overall experience was good however check in very lengthy since the receptionist was giving a lot of details including restaurant menu to the people in front of me. I was offered a welcome drink which never got since the one I got shortly after I checked in which it was a gin and tonic I ended up paying for it during check out; when I inquired about it in regards to the welcome drink reception said I still had to pay. Attention management *** please explain to guests what is a welcome drink, I assumed that it was any drink on hotel grounds. Thank you"
