"We enjoyed our stay at the Tivoli Kopke. The property is brand new with great views and a helpful staff. They’re just getting their operations up to speed, so there may be minor hiccups, but you’ll have a comfortable stay in Gaia at this property. Our room was very comfortable with great amenities, although the door to the toilet would not properly close and, although we made guest relations aware, they seemed unable to address it. (It wasn’t all that important, so we didn’t mention it again.) But other than that, the balcony river views were terrific, the room spacious, and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed a night at the bar with a blues band and great port. We thought dinner at the bistro was just fine, but not great. The food was by and large pretty bland, although the dessert was quite good. Pro tip: you don’t have to walk down the narrow road to get to town. Ask the front desk to point you to the emergency exit where the stone staircase leads out the back into town. It drops you right by a food hall that’s behind the main waterfront street and it’s well worth visiting!"

"It was amazing from the beginning to the end. We have been traveling through Spain and Portugal and this hotel is on the top of our best stays. Not only the hotel is very good but the staff is great, Koodo’s to our girl Jan at the restaurant. "

"I absolutely loved this hotel and all the aesthetics. It was the perfect location to all of the restaurants, port cellars, and shops. The rooftop Bar C&B inside the hotel had the perfect view of the Dom Luis bridge and the drinks were very good. I had breakfast and the buffet had everything you can think of. Very delicious. I got a massage at the hotel, it was a full body massage with Port wine and it was amazing. Transportation could be a walk because it’s very hilly but if you order a Bolt, which is their version of Uber, it’s very cheap to get to and from the city center. You are also walking distance from the cable car ride, which is only €10 round-trip. This hotel is a perfect location. This will definitely be my first pic as far as cleanliness, amenities, and prime location to everything. "

"Nice room overlooking the river and bridge. Staff helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very nice. No television or phone service while we were there."

"Staff and breakfast was wonderful! My husband celebrated his birthday and was given a birthday cake at breakfast! The hotel is located right along the river! So beautiful!"

"We only stayed at the NH Porto Jardim for one night, but the experience was absolutely incredible. You can find nice rooms anywhere, but the staff here truly sets this hotel apart. We arrived in Porto much earlier than expected, and when I reached out about an early check-in, Maria was so friendly and helpful, making it happen without any issues. The room itself was fantastic very spacious, with a high quality shower and an incredibly comfortable bed. We had breakfast included and it was a nice spread and a lot of different options. They also gave us commentary drinks at the bar when we went over. What really touched us, though, was the service after we checked out. The hotel held our luggage while we toured the city before our evening flight. When we returned to pick it up, Maria and her colleague were so wonderful with our 6-year-old son, Ethan. They spent time showing him the different Euro coins and explaining how they differ from US dollars. It was such a kind, personal gesture that made our son feel special. Maria was phenomenal and is a true asset to this hotel. We will definitely be staying at NH Porto Jardim every time we return to Porto!"

"Overall good. Only issue is that we visited property in late March and Air Conditioning shut off for the Spring. Temperature of room was 80F and there was no way to cool the room. We tried opening windows but was ineffective. Staff very polite and downstairs lounge has well stocked bar. Every day there is a Happy Hour special."

"Location is at the bottom of the hill by the water. It is close to a lot of restaurants, also not far from the museums, legendary bookstore, though part of the walk is uphill but going back is downhill. Room is spacious,clean, kitchen is small but we did not really need to cook anything. Check in was easy, there was always someone there if you need something. Check in is 2 mins from the actual building we stayed in. "
