"The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and provided great service. Standout staff included Francisco at the poolside bar, Alina, Martin, and Raul from Peninsula, as well as Salvador and Neftali from La Mexicana. This was my second visit, and i will definitely be back."
"Wonderful gem close to downtown activities and shopping. It was about a 15 minute walk to the marina and the heart of downtown. Staff were very attentive and friendly especially Leylani who did all the activities by the pool. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and well kept. All amenities except the pool at the Grand Solmar next door can be used by Solmar guests. Be aware that the beach here is not swimmable due to extremely strong waves and a sharp drop-off but is great to stroll on and watch the waves."

"Very comfortable beds, great water pressure, a/c works well. Only disappointment was not having a patio because we wanted 2 beds and I guess the standard rooms with patio only have king option. Also wish they would have posted buffet prices because we were thinking it was $20 and it was actually $32- we found out after we ate. Would be nice to have shelves for our toiletries and more hooks in bathroom too."
"We had a fabulous time at Hyatt Ziva!. Our butler Catalina was very kind and accommodating. The pools were large, beautiful and very clean. The many different restaurants and bar selections were awesome. Finally we upgraded our room upon arrival and it was extremely spacious and the ocean view was beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort! "
