"The Hotel Astoria is excellent. It is conveniently located near the train but in an area that is quiet, safe and far away from the crowds. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are wonderful with plenty of space, large, comfortable beds, a fridge which they stock with free beverages, and most importantly, they are sound proof so you do not hear people out in the hallways or on the streets. The breakfast is an extra cost but it is well worth it because of the wide selection of options and the quality of the food. We had an issue with our room the first day and the front desk staff took care of it immediately. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Genoa."

"Beware, Unfortunately, hotel never mentioned how to get to their location by car, they did reserve a parking spot in the valet garage for us. One problem with this hotel it’s in a bus only lane fine area. Google tells you to a U-turn at intersection light, which is a one-way oncoming traffic-wrong direction fine. Only way to get in is to do your U-turn over a double double line which we got a ticket for but the lowest of fines.
The hotel is amazing, clean, beautiful staircase the staff is wonderful, the breakfast is great. The service outstanding. Great location otherwise near Piazza Ferrari. "
