"We loved our stay at the Welcome. The staff from front desk, dining, housekeeping and the greeting team were all very pleasant and welcoming. Names to be mentioned are Suraj, Sujata, Suprabhat, Bhavna and Kashmir. I may have missed some names but everything was great including the food. Thank you everyone for making our stay memorable "
"I found the service to be poor and the staff significantly undertrained. Specifically, I encountered cockroaches in the restaurant area, and when I brought this to the attention of your staff, they walked away without a word. Additionally, the shower door in my bathroom was broken.
The level of service provided does not reflect the price paid. I strongly suggest that the hotel invests in proper staff training and property maintenance to address these hygiene and facility issues.

I had booked a luxury sea-facing room at Golden Retreat Hotel with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the standard of a “luxury” stay.
The condition of the room was quite disappointing. The bed sheets had visible stains, and the pillowcases had dirty spots, which immediately gave an unhygienic impression. The towels provided were of very poor quality and did not meet even basic expectations. Additionally, there was no proper blanket or bedspread available, which is something one would definitely expect in a luxury category room.
The bathroom maintenance was also below standard. The tap was leaking continuously, and water from the shower area was spilling over to the rest of the bathroom, making it inconvenient and messy to use.
While the breakfast was good and the staff were polite and helpful, the core aspect of the stay—the room itself—was not maintained to luxury standards. This was quite disappointing, especially considering the premium pricing for a sea-facing luxury room.
I would strongly suggest that the management focus on improving cleanliness, maintenance, and overall room quality to truly match the expectations of a luxury stay.
