Nevali Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was a great place to stay for a night
Very comfortable
Great rooftop
It was a live music event that night and we really enjoyed it
Very conveniently located
Nice breakfast
Parking was tight
Besides that everything great
I will definitely stay again"
"Firstly, it's a good looking place in its original style, however, my room (basic single), I don't think was worth the price.
It was clean, but the amenities inside needed attention, and it had a damp smell. The Aircon also stopped working (batteries I think), but the guy was gone, so couldn't ask for new ones. Instead, with only a sheet on the bed, I had a cool night.
Breakfast was very good though, and quite varied, but the lack of interaction/interest from the staff made it more of a sterile place to stay, than a nice welcoming one.
Beware, it's tucked away in the old part of town, so if you have a vehicle, it's not easy to get to, even on a motorbike"
"We stayed at The Palmyra Hotel in Şanlıurfa during our trip through Turkey and had a wonderful experience.
The hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a great location for exploring the city, but what really made our stay memorable was the hospitality. Ali went above and beyond to help us during our visit and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.
The breakfast was easily the best we had during our entire trip through Turkey — fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day.
If you’re planning a visit to Şanlıurfa, I would absolutely recommend The Palmyra Hotel for both the service and the overall experience."
"Very cute local feeling hotel with beautiful mosic wall art yet it felt upscale. Typically local old world feels also come with outdated amenities but this hotel didnt. Ice cold AC, beautiful bathroom and soft beds. The Sira Gessi is a must as well."
"Very interesting stone property. The room was stone also, with beadboard ceilings. They have a large rooftop terrace with tables, and a semi-outdoor tea area with tables. Beautiful lobby area. Very nice staff, but have your translator ready if you don't know Turkish. Easy walk to main boulevard."
"At first, I had some doubts about the location and the surroundings; honestly, my first impression wasn’t very strong. However, as my stay went on, my opinion completely changed. The peaceful atmosphere, the comfort of the place, and the overall vibe really draw you in. As time passed, I felt better and better, and when I was leaving, I realized how much I had actually enjoyed it. Everything was very well-organized, clean, and comfortable and don’t forget to try their breakfast :) . Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely choose this place again, it’s totally worth it. Never judge a book by its cover."
"A very nice Doubletree by Hilton. It is really a high end Hilton, more than a regular Doubletree.
The rooms are large. Cleanliness rules. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is terrific. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Parking is available, but under the hotel- levels -3 and -4. It is a challenge to take the turns to go from one floor to another- so do it patiently and carefully. The only issue with the hotel is that the access cards get deactivated daily. This required activating them daily. A pain."
