10/10 Excellent
"Excellent stay on both ends of our trip. Dim sum poolside after two days of traveling was excellent. Not to mention amazing breakfast buffet and brand new espresso machine"
"Great location, excellent staff, good restaurant, facilities OK. Hotel maintenance could be a bit better. Room next to busy road, substantial traffic noise, especially early evening. Inflexible when amending booking, ie wanted to charge more than original booking when reducing stay by one day."
"Fantastic hotel with a great rooftop bar and restaurant. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and breakfast is great and starts nice and early for those needing to catch the early ferry to the Mentawais. Recommend. "
"I was traveling in few places in Indonesia and during my trip I made three bookings for this hotel Fahira Hotel Syariah Padang in Padang, so it tells I was really satisfied and had no any reason to think any other hotel options in Padang.
People in reception and breakfast room (not to forget cleaners etc.) were always smily and helpful. And they spoke good English. They were also helpful after I had one accident.
During my different bookings I was staying in a few different types of rooms and both were clean and big. As well bathrooms. I am from Europe and it was really important that air-source heat pumps were quality ones, so they had a lot of adjustment possibilities. Mini fridge would have been a nice addition.
I found out that Indonesia is not an easy country for vegetarians. BUT Fahira Hotel Syariah Padang had a really, really good breakfast. There were around 10-12 hot options and everyday at least four of them were suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It is better to ask every morning what is suitable for vegetarians and vegans as for example in some days rice choices had meat. Also there were desserts etc. I appreciated a good vegetarian breakfast for example on the first day when I was walking in the city and there were not any vegetarian food in two first restaurants and only once simple choice in the third restaurant. Luckily Fahira Hotel Syariah Padang also has a restaurant."
