I called ahead to request an early check in and the front desk person was very personable and helpful and left a great impression. The hotel is decorated beautifully and the rooms are spacious with great amenities. Nowadays the rooms in motels are SO tiny, you almost feel claustrophobic, but Cumberland's rooms are large and comfortable, well supplied, clean, and windows with cross-ventilation. Solid place to stay. Kind of 50 to 60's vibe to it, although updated. Park right at your entry. Stayed in room #4, which was a end unit, all units are ground level. 3 nights in mid-November 2025. Negatives: Wi-fi was a bit weaker & only working 50% of the time, Too much outside light shining in at night - particularly on the car parking side, awkward hand sanitizer dispenser instead of soap at sink, No USB ports.
