Excellent place to stay. VERY clean!

Sit on the front porch and watch the activity on the Ohio River. Room loaded with ambiance of days gone by. Very quiet and comfortable.

My first contact was when I noticed I had reserved a room for the wrong date. Holly was gracious enough to change to the correct date and fortunate for us another room was available. This hotel was renovated a few years ago and re-opened. All rooms are on the 2nd floor and I've stayed in about 4 different ones as each one is unique to the building's architecture. I mention the second floor because there is no elevator so you have to use stairs. Handicapped people might have trouble, I'd check with the hotel as to what they can accommodate. Good, hot breakfast with egg disks and sausage, waffles. Whole fruits. Cereals and skim and whole milk. Price not bad since it was on sale for one day only. Room could have been warmer since they knew we were coming and had the room picked out. Location good by interstate and gas stations nearby.

Love Hillside Inn. Always go there when we go to Madison.

When we reached our room the phone rang and asked if our room was OK. This has never happened to us EVER. The staff at this Comfort Inn were fabulous.

This was a random unplanned stay on the way home from Charleston, SC. Tired of driving, we decided to get some sleep. Found this on Expedia with great ratings and booked it. When we arrived at 9pm, we were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff member who also took the time to interact with my children!! Easy access from the interstate. Room size was nice and plenty. The condition of the room was very clean and the bed and pillows are comfortable.

Clean and cozy

We spent 2 nights at the hotel while on a college visit with my daughter. We arrived at almost 1:00 in the morning, very tired and ready to hit the pillows. The young man who greeted us at the desk was very welcoming and made sure we knew about breakfast the next morning. The following day we were exausted after visiting the college.
