"It was as expected- but on smaller side although clean, comfortable and practical - parking is also very convenient.
Best is the staff who was ever so helpful!"
"This was our 2nd stay at the hotel.
Great location - easy and quick to walk to centre or shopping areas. On the hop on hop off bus routes.
Friendly staff -quick and pleasant check in. Conceirge and reception couldn't do enough for you.
Rooms - We got a free upgrade this time and the room was magnificant. It needed a fresh lick of paint but was clean. It was very spacious, comfy bed, clean bathroom with great shower and great views.
Pool - lovely pool. Unfortunately it isn't monitored in any way. Every time we visited it (always after 7pm), it was full of unsupervised kids, most of who were jumping in (on top of people trying to swim too) and mucking around. Maybe need to either keep a check on it, or limit kids after a certain time. We ended up not going several times because of this."
"Good location but a small room and bathroom. Weather was great so I spent most of the day outside sight seeing. Good coffee maker in the room for a afternoon or morning coffee"
"The previous reviews about the small size of the hotel rooms were not kidding. I booked a room for three people. Myself and my two young adult daughters. We are kind of small people. 5’5” and all under 120 pounds. We could not pass each other in the space in this room. It was very claustrophobic. In the bathroom, the shower is about 1 foot away from the toilet and has a curtain but is not enclosed so you have to squeegee the whole bathroom floor after you shower. The room could’ve used a couple of extra shelves and more hooks for your stuff. There is no air-conditioning. The weather was mild when we were there, but we still had to leave the window completely open. The entire stay with no screen. There’s no fan in the room. It would’ve made a huge difference if they just had a fan installed on the wall to keep you comfortable at night when you’re sleeping. It’s probably OK for a solo traveler. OK maybe for young travelers as it is a basic step up from a hostel. But I am in my 50s and too old for this. Next time I will look for something much larger. It was a very convenient location, though, about a five minute walk to Central Station in Tilly Gardens."
