"The girl on reception when checking in was really helpful and easily the best staff member we encountered. After that, things were very average. The room looked tired an in need of some love as it had stains on the carpet and felt flat in colour. Breakfast was very poor service, with only 4 tables to serve the 2 staff struggled to offer any level of service. If you throw in how much they charge per room, this is definitely a hotel trading on location and historical levels of quality. Not worth the money and there’s better places nearby for less"

"Room 203 has damp on the wall and smells of damp. Outside the windows are the hotel air conditioning units so the room has constant noise. The walls are also very thin so you can easily hear other guests. The room is a good size though. The mattress needs to be replaced and a tv remote provide. The room was clean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was very good. The view from the restaurant was stunning."

"Checked in hotel as a recommendation from friends who had stayed there before. We stayed 1 night. The next morning we needed to shower and leave early and had no hot water in the shower. We had hot water in the sink basin but nothing in the shower. When we told the reception as we were checking out, he said you should have dialed 0 but the time taken to correct it wouldn’t have been possible due to having showered already and we were checking out. Hotel was going through a major renovation also with limited services."
