8/10 Good
"I had an Ocean View room so the view of the sunset (if you were not out on the sundeck watching it) was perfect.
The meals were very good, catering for almost any diet.
The staff were very friendly and courteous but not over bearing.
The rooms were clean and felt fresh - due to the number of rooms on the plot size they were designed to encourage the visitor to be out and about and only be in the room for a daytime siesta and your nightly sleep."
"The Sandpiper is a luxury boutique hotel in a great location on the west coast of Barbados. You get what you pay for, it is expensive but worth it. The staff are courteous and well trained, and nothing is too much trouble. It is clear why this is one of the small luxury hotels of the world."
"Remembering this is 3 star it is very good. Great location and right on the beach. Traditional Barbados hotel more suited to those wanting a quiet relaxing holiday."
"The rooms have been considerably upgraded and are much more comfortable than before Marriott took over. But the use of buffet-dinner arrangements at premium prices is disappointing and not good value for money. You don't pay these sorts of prices to have to serve yourself. Apart from the room renovation the hotek is not much improved from the Elegant days but is much more expensive. "
"The pool is just a plunge pool on the roof.. the 2 bedroom doesn’t have nearly enough storage for people staying more than a couple of days. The hot water heater in our unit didn’t work correctly and caused some inconvenience because and the staff did their best to accommodate. But it was an unfortunate interruption. The location is great because it is near some of the best restaurants on the island but you need to travel to the better beaches. You really need a car to stay here. The surrounding area is not very nice to look at and the water view is very limited."
"This was our first visit to All Seasons resort and we weren’t disappointed. The room was spacious and airy and well appointed although the electric cooker was disappointing.
All of the staff were exceptionally polite and well versed in their jobs.
The property is well positioned and is an easy walk into Hole Town.
Would definitely stay here again"
