"What a lovely space! Our little apartment was great, spacious and clean. The garden area was also lovely and it was in a quiet location but still close to everything we needed. All the ladies there were so friendly and helpful. They booked our boat tour and transport for us. I also really enjoyed doing the pottery class- it was one of the highlights of my trip so far! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Ha Long Bay!"

"Great service the people there are amazing organised my cruise, my bus and when i stupidly left my passport there they sent it to me on a bus so i wouldn’t miss my flight. I’ve traveled for three weeks in Vietnam and this is by far the best! Would recommend and if I go back to Ha long bay I will always choose to stay here! "

"The room was excellent, the front desk staff was good but Chan in particular excelled. She was so helpful, polite and friendly that it made my stay. I don't go to another country expecting them to speak English, it is the world's second choice for a language and the main language of tourism so its was a bonus that Chan spoke very good English. Great value, friendly servers for breakfast and very efficent cleaning staff. Most important to me was that it was what it appears to be on the listing....

"when we first arrived at Halo Homestay - we were concerned because it was not in a very nice area. We didn't realise how big Halong Bay city is. we were expecting sleepy little fishing village!! NOT!! there are 2 distinct areas 1. locals 2. tourists. This homestay is in the locals area. "Linen could have been cleaner. Staff great , very unique experince. Food very good and well catered for, perhaps some different stops, eg caves etc. and better explanation when booking you need to get to Cat ba to get on boat and not at halong Bay. Overall good."
