"We stayed in the gate house as a family of 3 and chose this hotel as it was a short drive to the flower bowl entertainment centre.
The room was out of the main hotel in a separate building and was nicely done with comfy beds. We had an evening meal in the walled garden restaurant and both the food and service were great. We didn’t use the pool as it was £10pp to use the facilities.
The only thing that really let down our stay was the buffet breakfast as many of the items had not been refilled leaving many items not available and the food that was there was cold. As the breakfast was an added cost to the room I wish we had gone elsewhere for breakfast. I did tell the receptionist on check out as there hadn’t been any staff around at breakfast to tell and was told he was sorry to hear that."
"This is a cute place to stay but a bit dated. It is dog friendly and it was lovely to see so many furry friends enjoying a trip! We stayed in a building round the back which had some quirky wallpaper but needed an upgrade. Interesting rules around breakfast which were explained in terrifying detail by staff who had been well briefed - "You have 30 minutes from when you enter until you must leave, and you can have one hot drink refill". That was a bit much, but we complied!"
"We stayed 1 night for a stop over while travelling further but are now planning a trip especially to stay at this hotel it was so lovely. The staff were brilliant and it was lovely and clean"
