"The cleaning staff were absolutely horrible. I had to beg for towels and cleaning products. However, the reception staff were helpful to restore some sanity. They went above and beyond to aid me during a GI illness during my trip. Kudos to them! Should fire all cleaning staff immediately. They were rude and obnoxious."
"This is a beautiful authentic property. On my first visit I was given a lovely bright room. The rooftop cafe-restaurant is blissful. I love the unique architecture and design and art. Staff is OK but not Thai or Japan standard (must be honest). The location is not walkable, but Dakar is not the most walkable place outside a few blocks in the Plateau. The small restaurant produces excellent food, which was a nice surprise. I've stayed at four different hotels in Dakar just on this visit and this is outstanding and memorable."
