"Clean and spacious room. Attentive staff."

"They said elevator not working and had to carry suitcases up and down to second floor (which is really 3rd) with no help available, but saw staff using elevator. Had to bring wet towels down when checking out or would be charged a fee. Food in restaurant buffet was horrible. Huge pieces of fat in soup, unidentifiable mystery food and not even butter for bread. Dinner and lunch were both inedible and Hungarian food is usually delicious. Furniture in room was in very poor condition and they did not even provide shampoo in the "shower""

"Communication was a bit difficult as the staff’s English was limited, but despite the language barrier, they did their best to explain everything and were very kind. Both breakfast and dinner were not excellent, but they were satisfactory. The room was spacious and clean, which we appreciated. "

"The views were amazing of the castle on the hill. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was very good. We were there for 4 nights and loved every minute."

"Very comfortable option"

"As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again."

"Good but no housekeeping on the weekend and no way to get a coffee after 9am. But clean and comfortable."
