"The setting of the hotel is picturesque. However the service was flaky and not reliable. Staff responds with what you wanna hear but little to no follow through."
"I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay at The Paramount. As a frequent traveler, I’ve stayed at many hotels, but this experience was truly impeccable.
First off, the location is PRIME. It’s central to everything and made getting around Portland incredibly convenient. The staff was also amazing from start to finish. Every day, they were friendly, approachable, and always available to help. I even called a few days before arriving with a few questions, and they were just as welcoming over the phone.
Cleanliness was another huge highlight. The entire property was spotless and sanitary, including my room. Easily a 10/10. I stayed in the single king room, and it was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The linens smelled fresh and clean, and I appreciated the small details throughout the space, especially the tissues folded into a rose shape in the restroom, which I thought was such a clever touch for being in the City of Roses. The large windows also offered some of the best sunset views of the city.
The restaurant downstairs was another 10/10. Great food, great service, and a perfect addition to the overall experience.
I will say that you could hear some city traffic/people at night, but that’s obviously outside of the hotel’s control, and honestly, it was a small tradeoff for such a great stay. I would absolutely stay here again."
