Jalan Legian is the primary walking street of Legian, one of Bali’s most popular beach resort hub. The street, which connects Kuta and Seminyak, is lined with a good variety of shops, bars, hotels and clubs. Several alleys, including Poppies Lane (I and II) and Garlic Lane branch off to the beach from this street.
Jalan Legian has most of the Legian’s daytime shopping and dining spots. There are plenty of art shops selling pretty much the same types of souvenirs. You can easily hop from one shop to another, practising your bargaining skills to get the best deal.

There are brand outlets with fixed price shopping, many of which offer discounts and promos year-round. International brands like Rip Curl and Surfer Girl have their flagship stores on Jalan Legian.
Jalan Legian is also one of Bali’s busiest nightlife hubs, offering plenty of vibrant bars and nightclubs that stay open until late. Popular venues include Bounty Discotheque, Vi Ai Pi, and Paddy’s Pub.
Near the southern end, you’ll find the Ground Zero Monument, which is dedicated to victims of the 2002 Bali bombings. The end of the Jalan Legian shopping street turns right towards Kuta Beach, where the Jalan Pantai Kuta Street can take you north towards Legian’s Jalan Melasti.
