Barefoot walks on Hwangtogil Trail at Mount Gyejok offer prime nature therapy in Deajeon. The texture of the trail surface is a favourite among children. This nature trail was established by a corporate executive who wanted to share his experience. It’s now a landmark of Daejeon where festivals take place every year, except during cold winters.
You need around 5 to 6 hours to walk the entire 14.5-km-long trail, formed along a forest road starting at the Jang-dong Forest Park entrance.
