"This is a charming and most certainly underrated hotel in the heart of Batna. It is a 10 minute walk from the railway station and is operated by a very friendly owner who speaks English fluently. The room had an ensuite which was well lit and relatively new and a balcony overlooking the town plaza. Breakfast, which is included contained egg, cordial, yoghurt, and many cakes and pastries, as-welk-as coffee. The hotel was clean and quaint throughout, and all staff were attentive. "Timgad Hotel Hazem has wonderful, responsive staff, especially the front desk. They helped me get a taxi and helped adjust the number of nights I stayed. The hotel is clean and the rooms are fine. Mine had no desk, but the internet worked OK. The breakfast had coffee and lots of pastries, but othewise not much. The scrambled eggs container had a broken handle all 3 mornings, and it was empty about 50% of the time. There was hard bread with no butter, and very little healthy food - just...
