"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "We had a great stay and really enjoyed having access to the castle grounds so close to our room. We asked for a fan in our room and it was delivered immediately . The restaurant for breakfast was only a minutes walk away and had a stunning view of the castle . The food was of a very high quality and good choice of individually cooked items , plus an extensive buffet. Thoroughly recommend for a special occasion ."

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cosy and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming feel. The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t many mirrors, which would have been handy-but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Would definitely stay again! "
