"I was there for Michael movie global premiere and the hotel was in perfect location from where it was happening. I loved the room. The staff was the best. Very helpful and kind. I also enjoyed the bar and loved the DJ playing great music. When I checked out there was DJ playing with live music (saxophone). Great vibes. I did not eat breakfast so I can't comment on that. But the design and decor is really cool and I loved the Michael Jackson mosaic painting and the wall decor."

"We stayed at the LYV on Karl Marx Strasse and I’d recommend it for people looking for apartment style accommodations in an area of Berlin that is pretty lively and has great access to the U-Bahn and the Ring-Bahn. There are lots of middle eastern restaurants, grocery stores, and parks nearby. The street does have a lot of street noise but when the windows are closed there is no issue. "The hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, but the interror is lovely. Going by other reviews, there has recently been some renovation (which caused some disruption), but the end result is a thing to behold. Clearly a lot of thought and design expertise has gone into the renovation. The rooms are stunning -- as good as any top tier hotel I've visited recently. I was genuinely surprised by the quality."

"Not great tbh. The room was way smaller than pictured, could almost touch three walls at the same time. The outlets were stupidly placed. You have a high bed but lets place all the lights somewhere you cant reach so you gotta use a ladder in the dark or climb up and down a lot. The nightlight didnt really work but at least that meant i could charge my phone so that was nice. The toilet or zink leaked so the bathroom floor was just wet, you only had 4 minutes of hot water but at least the water...
