"The staff at the reception was amazing, and the cleaning staff was excellent as well. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Staff members were removing plates before guests had even finished their meals, and there was constant shouting throughout the hotel. The alcohol served at the bar was of very poor quality. Overall, this did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience at all."

"Absolutely stunning property. It has its own private blue flag beach with sun beds and beach bar service. There are loads of freshwater, saltwater, kids pools again with plenty of sun beds and bar service. Rooms are adequately sized, well lit, beautifully decorated and well maintained. Staff were polite, courteous and super helpful throughout our stay. Truely a 5-Star property!"

"Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "
