"Amazing stay and perfect home base on Vieques. At check in, Kelly gave us great recommendations of what to do and how to work with island life. The ferry told us to avoid the bio bay due to the full moon, but Kelly told us the moon wouldn't be out until after nine, so we were able to see the bay in it's full glory (thank you so much!). If you are looking for a true local place with the amenities and cleanliness of a big name hotel, the Seagate is your place."

"Had a short but really nice stay. The property is beautiful and the rooms are perfect a perfect stop for touring the bioluminescent bay near by. Everything is pretty close, but renting a golf cart is not a bad option if you have mobility issues as there are a few hills to walk up. Staff were awesome and supplied us with tons of little things to help us enjoy the local experience. "

"Great base for exploring Vieques. Room well kept. The owner has beach supplies available - chairs, umbrellas, etc. It's just a half a block from the malecon (boardwalk) - every restaurant in town is within a 10 minute walk. Pickup for bioluminescent bay tour is about a 5 minute drive. Parking available. No complaints - we stayed one night, I wished we'd stayed 2 or 3."

"Mountain View is great and the ocean is in the distance but that is expected based on where the hotel is situated. The pool and deck are absolutely beautiful as it’s perched on the side of the hill with beautiful views. The pool is perfection"

"This was perfect for a one night stay on the island. Having a store right across the street was a bonus. We enjoyed the coffee and community room on the first floor as there wasn’t any sitting space in the room. The only thing we noticed was a lot of birds outside the window so if you are a light sleeper that might be an issue but they did provide earplugs so I’m wondering if that’s why. We were tired from a late night at the Bioluminescent Bay so we had no problem falling asleep."

"Breath taking views, best infinity pool in the universe, great food, excellent staff- David and Victor- super kind and friendly, very peaceful and calm environment!! 15 min walk to Playa Negra. Best area to stay. Will stay here again and again!! "
