"We have enjoyed our stay, this is the second time we stated here. Room was clean, bed very comfortable (The Cottage Room). Breakfast was really tasty. I do agree with some other reviews of the Inn- and this is no reflection on the Inn keeper- she was wonderful as was her dog Sadie- what a cutie! She is a lovable Doodle / large dog, and as gentle as they come. The grounds do need attention and clean up some of the stuff laying around...and overall freshen up to make a better first impression....

"Staff was very friendly, called and confirmed my booking and they upgraded my room for free. Atmosphere was awesome and the restaurant downstairs had delicious food. Wish I was staying longer so I could explore all the little nooks and crannies of this place. Will be staying here again. If you like the classic southern Kentucky feel this is the place to go. "

"The property was beautiful and relaxing, with the private lake, manicured grounds and surrounded by majestic horses. The hosts were very welcoming. We even had an impromptu game of Cash Cab at breakfast since everyone says My Husband looks like the Cash Cab Host. It was a fun and personalized way to end our visit there! "

"This was our second stay at Rose Hill Inn. The Inn is a quiet and convenient place to stay when in Versailles. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. The location is great for walking to the Amsden Bourbon Bar and places to eat. And, it is close to Woodford Reserve and Keeneland. Great place to stay. "

"Charred Oak Inn is an absolute hidden gem! Fabulous old house with modern renovations. Pamela and Richard are super hosts: friendly, great at sharing the history of the house and surrounding area. Welcome “tea tray” was extremely thoughtful and delicious! Breakfast was phenomenal. The hosts did everything to make our stay memorable. This truly is a superb place to stay. Can’t say enough about Charred Oak Inn. You’ll love it!"
