"The hotel itself is lovely, every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome — from Lee greeting me at the front desk to Tara and another woman whose name I didn’t get giving me advice on parks to which I could take my dog. They have complementary breakfast, a popcorn, machine, and cookies at night. Oh, and the room was spacious with a bathtub! And if it matters to you, as part of the same parking lot, there is a Planet Fitness and Perkins. I have stayed here...

"This is a good find for the price. Staff is very kind and friendly. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean but the owner needs to put some money back into the building. There are several things that need repaired ie. old molding ceiling in bathrooms, stained tubs, rusted hardware. "

"Great place to stay when looking for an overnight stay after a Penn State football game. 30 minutes from State College, and an easy drive. The best thing about this place is the price. As most hotels from Altoona to State College inflate their prices for home games, the ‘Curve’ maintains their low prices. As described by other reviews, the place is a bit dated including the bathrooms, but they are in process of renovating them. So this should improve."
