Forget about a cuppa before bed or when you feel like it. 😂 No interphone in the room , you have to go downstairs to reception if you need something. Overall nice place to stay! I am working in the hospitalityfor last twenty-five years now. I've been in Southend Seven hotel, you can't even compare the service. I was so impressed by the service given in Southend. "Staff were so friendly on arrival, helping me with my terrible French despite being happy to speak English (after I told him I’d been trying to learn French!) and taking the time to research the rules of the metro and travelling with dogs for me, just to double check I had the rules right. The property itself was immaculate, despite being a little dated. We used it as a base to sleep as we headed to Paris for the day and it was perfect for this. Very comfortable."
