"Decent rooms and good food."

"This hotel is the perfect example of what it is not as being portrayed as! Photos look great, this place is a dump! Very dirty, spiders everywhere are hotel bed sheets still had hair from the previous guests take a look at the tub in the photo! Cost more money than this damn break chain with breakfast, there was no way we were going to eat that food with all the gnats flying all over the place Way over price this really isn't even worth an Indian $5 hotel. We paid for 3 nights and left after...

Though it was already included in the package i had to leave the hotel without breakfast as i left at 8am. The owner had proposed that at 7.30am he could provide us with bread, butter and jam. "We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained.
