"Really nice little boutique hotel that was in a part of town that felt a little sketchy (but then again I don’t know a lot about Pittsburgh; it’s in the city’s historic district). Free parking (always a plus!) Great little bar. Large, clean, nicely appointed rooms. Not a bad place to spend a few days if you’re visiting the city. They may need to work a bit on accessibility. There’s an elevator but no ramp at the entrance, only stairs."

"Quite enjoyed our stay at The Placemkr. Our room was clean and comfortable, the valet parking was convenient & efficient, and the staff there and at reception were friendly and helpful. Blackout curtains would’ve helped, as we were across from the bus/train stations and there were only Venetian blinds to block out the light. Otherwise we quite enjoyed our stay. Also, great curb appeal!"

"Loved the location and the amenities. The bed was so comfortable, I actually slept in until 9 AM and almost missed breakfast. This is a pet friendly hotel with a dog park within steps of the front door. Nice and quiet, I will definitely come back on my next trip to that area."

Room and beds always clean and comfortable, free breakfast is great, staff is friendly and accommodating, free dinner is a plus, location is great, as only a 15-20 minute walk to the stadiums.
