"The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

"Ski bus stopped just over the road which was very useful. Kids playroom was a nice touch, our three year old spent a lot of time there. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, a great selection. My only suggestion for improvement here would be to have breakfast start half an hour earlier. Ski storage room was also very useful. "Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact.
