"Not a bad place for the price. Friendly staff. Beds were really squeaky, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but not a bad deal for the price "
"This was a great little hotel. Seemed like it was still new and just opened, everything was clean and maintained. No elevator FYI, stairs only at each end of the building. Continental breakfast option was a make your own waffle and cereal with milk additions to the regularly stocked coffee machine, juice machine, bottled water, fruit and granola bar selection that is always available in the front lobby. Staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. I asked for a DND sign after our first night and they gave me one, but asked if we needed anything for"
"Overall review score was good and price was right so I booked it. I arrived and I panicked. Later discovered that review was so high because someone with the same name did 90% of the reviews listed... so I got, got. Because of how I booked it I could not get a refund so I powered through. This property is in a dangerous area, falling apart, homeless everywhere, people living there, people hanging outside and around. You cannot walk outside the property or inside the property and feel safe or be safe. I asked the clerk to put me in the safest space, not in the back and not near people that live there. I hustled to my room on the 2nd floor and Locked it, dead bolted it, and fastened the security latch as well. Only perks were the room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The downside of the room was it had an odor that I adjusted to, the microwave burned my food early and did not even start to "cook" it so something is up with that, the TV was not plugged in with the power line or any cables to get it to work. I got up early, snuck quietly down the stairs, and dashed to my commercial truck. Loaded the passenger side with my things and as I was hustling to drivers side I got approached by the man that stayed at the bottom of my stairs... I unlocked my door, jumped in, and he stilled tried to get my attention. I could not get out of there fast enough. Went to the McDonalds down the street to pre trip my truck in a safer environment but it was unsafe there as well"
