"Nice, friendly staff. Smokers smoke right by the entrance door, I get headaches fr cigarette smoke. Three flights of spiral stairs to get to our room, single bed very uncomfortable. Duvet smelled."
"A pearl in the Medina indeed. A wonderful room, facing the pounding Atlantic, with easy access to all of Essaouira. The breakfast was a great start to the day. My hamman and massage -- like my wife's pedicure and facial -- were refreshing, relaxing and effective. Add the amazing staff, and we'd come here anytime Essaouira calls."
"It was perfect!
The riad was in a perfect location, it was in the centre of the medina with everything so close by. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed.
The breakfast was great and the staff were responsive - Rita was brill!
The riad itself was gorgeous, with a lovely rooftop and a great lounge area. We got some great restaurant recommendations from staff too.
I definitely will be coming back to this beautiful riad and Essaouira ❤️

"What a fabulous find Ryad Watier is! Nothing was too much trouble for the team that runs it - they were so hospitable and helpful. It was like being in someone's home. Breakfast was delicious and tailored to your needs. We ended our visit with a hammam and massage which was perfect after over two weeks in Morocco. "Stunning Riad, with a more modern feel. We had a very warm welcome, with a full introduction to Essaoira. Beautiful rooms and breakfast in the roof where you can see the sea.
It’s situated just off a Main Street and feels very safe and the breakfast was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this enough, we only stayed 2 night but I could easily have stayed a week!"
