"Well maintained, small rooms, but extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast (for one morning) was very good, with plenty of variety … begins at 7am, so an excellent choice if you are exploring early for a day trip. You cannot hear anything from rooms beside you (and there were school tour groups in the hotel). There is some outside noise, but this is to be expected inside the city walls near the nightlife. Highly recommended."
"Check-in was easy and the room was reasonably clean, but there was no hand soap or shower gel. The front desk staff member with glasses was curt when this was brought to her attention, although another colleague resolved the issue quickly.
At checkout, when asked about my experience, I mentioned that the bed was noisy and uneven. The same staff member appeared to take the comment personally rather than as feedback. A more professional response is generally expected from front desk staff in the hospitality industry, particularly in France."
