"Do not stay here. I should have read the reviews first. There are so many other hotels right on the same road. This used to be a Doubletree but it got downgraded. There is no breakfast due to renovations. The hot tub and pool were fine. The whole facility is extremely worn down and grubby. The room was very small and there was not even room to walk past someone. Very few towels and the shampoo and other dispensers had been removed but the holders were left on the wall. There was no soap just tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash. The beds were only double and were very small. The elevators barely worked. One was being fixed. They are extremely slow. There is very little security at the hotel. You don’t need to have a key card to get upstairs. We could hear the elevators grinding all night and the HVAC system was so loud. The room was grubby and worn with paint patches on the walls, worn out carpeting, and ugly popcorn ceilings. They really need to completely renovate the entire property. It is just too dated to be worth the money."
"This Dowager hotel has lost her luster. She is tired and rundown. We had to ask for toilet paper during our recent stay of a week. No housekeeping. The thermostat was immovable. The decor is dated. It is in an excellent location. There is no valet parking (or at least there wasn’t when we were there. You had to park in a parking garage. Going in and out and paying each time is ridiculous for a hotel of a caliber it used to be. If location is important, this is a great hotel. If you need parking, amenities and toilet paper, look elsewhere."
