"We were a party of 6 spread into 2 rooms. We were in the tower, which was fine- although not that convenient since we were at the kids pool everyday, which is on the other side of the resort.
The housekeeping service was excellent- never disturbed us - always working around when
we were out. Rooms were left tidy and clean.
Mostly, we spent our days at the kids pool. Chairs were plentiful and service was top notch. Easy to order lunch and drinks without having to go anywhere. Pool was really awesome for kids to play at and the water slides were great. Always kept clean and accessible. Towels and complimentary sunscreen were amazing.
Our kids also enjoyed the lobby area and games room. We had a family member babysit kids in this area while we went for dinner and it was easy to keep them all entertained.
The resort shops had nice beach wear and the store has whatever you might want.
We didn't rent a car and felt that we had a great time staying at the resort all week.
Small groceries and hot/cold deli is available across the street at Island Grocer. I would have liked a fridge that was a little bigger.
The shops at the mall across had nice summer clothing and I bought some new pieces there.
We ate at the buffet a few times and the food was delicious and the value was good if travelling with kids 5 and under.
There was low cost DIY laundry at the bottom of tower- which we appreciated.
We had a wonderful holiday!!"
"The Andaz resort was absolutely beautiful. The views from the lobby and ocean viewcrooms was breathtaking! The staff was exceptionally attentive to our needs. We woyld highly recommend the Andaz resort. The rooms were clean & very spacious. Loved the shower."
"The property is a true gem boasting expansive lush flora and fauna with multiple pools creating a swimmer's paradise. The various coves and levels including a waterpark and adult pool add to its allure. The expansive beach offers breathtaking views shared with the Four Seasons. Our room was exquisitely appointed with a spacious patio featuring outdoor furniture a rocking chair and a modern interior with an oversized shower and spa-inspired bathroom. The lobby is a work of art reminiscent of the Bellagio. The service was exceptional and attentive allowing guests to order drinks by the beach or pool. However beach umbrellas incur an additional cost while lounge chairs are provided in the lawn area adjacent to the beachfront. A notable highlight was the bar area featuring a see-through aquarium bar. One area for improvement is the availability of umbrellas throughout the property as they tend to fill up quickly and the sun can be intense. Notably the Waldorf has a more family-friendly atmosphere compared to the Four Seasons and the Andaz which we also visited. While the property itself is truly stunning and impressive the Andaz may be a better option for those seeking a more intimate and relaxing experience."
"Let me start with positives. The view beautiful! The condo nights. And working with the check-in staff top-notch!
On site review post area love self checking and self parking. Very good price for accommodations and free parking. In the area is lovely. That’s where my pleasant experience ends.
Here’s the truth about the accommodations and what we experience. We arrived late in the evening after a very long day of travel. If your person who likes privacy, this is not the place for you. The blinds are completely sheer and being this apartment was on a ground floor. Anyone can stand outside your window and watch you in your bed sleep it is very concerning especially if your person likes to sleep with a few lights on in the TV. So saying that we couldn’t get comfortable wasn’t understatement because the living room room has the same type of curtains. When calling the staff and complaining about this, they offered to set up some kind of makeshift blinds. The other item is I’m a person who suffers from asthma. The condo that we stayed in had a very antiquated air-conditioning system that could only be activated for six hours at a time so if you went to sleep, forgot to crank the AC timer on on the wall you would wake up to a sweltering bedroom. The other item they don’t tell you in their ads is that only 50% of the house has a C so when you were in the bathroom, trying to put on your makeup, you are sweating the entire time. As the little AC units do not call the unit off. "
