The hotel room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was always eager to help and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Vincci Mae. It was located near plenty of stores and just a short distance from the city center. The only thing that caught me off guard was that my room came with two twin beds that were pushed together rather than one king or queen bed, which I would've preferred. I didn't complain about that because everything was so amazing and the bed was still comfy.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in outside of North America. I'm very happy that I chose the HG City Suites for my stay in Barcelona. After I decided not to stay in the City Center I looked for a place outside of that area and after a lot of searching on Google Earth, chose Gracia and the HG City Suites and I'm glad I did. Room was small for American standards BUT it's not a negative, it's an observation and to give an idea of real expectations to travelers from the USA. I think the hotel was excellent in terms of friendliness, cleanliness and location. I walked to main attractions and these were leisurely 30 min walks. I like to walk so I didn't find out much about public transportation but if I needed to get somewhere fast I took a taxi.

The staff is very helpful and the amenities where very clean. They also have water and coffee in the lobby at all times why was convenient. Highly recommend their breakfast.

We arrived hungry and tired!! The girl working the desk was so friendly and helpful!! Not used to restaurants not opening before 8pm but that is not the hotels fault!!!!

A beautiful, quiet, second story apartment in an upscale neighborhood with everything we needed, including an amazing market with the best produce ever, fresh cheeses/bread/fish etc. on the next block. We saved a lot on restaurants with the market's amazing, varied carry-out ("Teca-away"). There are also restaurants, cafes, and a beautiful park around the corner. Beautiful hotel in Le Eixample. With a fantastic insider's view of La Pedrera/Casa Mila from the rooftop terrace. Steps from the Metro station and high end shops on Passeig de Gracia. Just a fantastic place to explore Barcelona from.

I happened upon Hotel La Pau as I had extended my stay in Barcelona but had to switch hotels. What an unbelievable surprise it was. I am an absolute stickler for customer service and the pride and care La Pau took in their customer service was evident as soon as I stepped through the doors. We loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel overall had a very nice vibe. We will definitely stay here again!
