4 Star Hotels in Huicheng District

The Hyatt Regency Dongguan is situated on the Shon Shan lake and is a beautiful property surrounded by many gardens. The restraunts are high end and the service is excellent. Although a bit pricey compared to other hotels in Dongguan and there is poor access by foot to food outside of the hotel, I will stay here again if possible.

Very nice modern hotel with surprisingly large and luxurious rooms with great amenities. Even a washer dryer in the room. I did laundry three times! Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good. Many things to choose from. The location is in a busy area with lots of local restaurants in easy walking distance. The street food at the nearby night market was fun.

Best hotel for visiting Huawei's campus in Dongguan. Really can't complain, it was a perfectly normal hotel in China. Clean and relatively new.

I've stayed at the Hyatt at Songshan Lake (close by) and the rooms here are almost identical, same room layout, slightly different bathroom but at half the price. About the only drawback is if you don't speak Chinese (I don't). Only 1 in 20 speak English, where the Hyatt probably more like 1 in 2. But the restaurant staff used Google translator, probably could have never ordered dinner without it. There is a buffet that would make it easier but I avoid buffets. I only rated the amenities a 4...

First class overall.

Very nice clean hotel, bathroom and shower is above standard with rain shower and very good water pressure. Lobby is high end look with very good quick service, I was handed a cup of tea as I walked in. Highly recommend, this is on par or better than most US hotels in China or US.
